Cristalino Cava Brut Non-Vintage (about $8): A terrific Spanish sparkler with a some apple and citrus flavors and a crisp, dry finish. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better sparkling wine in this price range.

Ebenezer, Barossa Valley 2001 (about $30): This wine is cram-packed with dark berry flavors and plenty of spice.
