It’s back…and better than ever!

The 3rd Annual Bellingham Northwest Wine Festival returns to the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Grand Ballroom in Bellingham. Over 175 wines from a minimum of 50 Pacific Northwest wineries will be featured, along with the presentation of medals and a Best in Show trophy award for the top-rated wine from an earlier judged competition. All of the medal-winning wines will be available for tasting during the event.

nullIn addition to wine tasting, attendees will be treated to a number of passed appetizers as well as a variety of small bites from area restaurants including 9Restaurant, Culture Cafe, Cosmos Bistro, Lovitt Restaurant, Pierside Kitchen at Semiahmoo, The Mill, 100 North, and McKay’s Taphouse. Stones Throw Brewery and two distilleries will also be in attendance.

Tickets are now on sale at two price levels: $50 general admission tickets provide three hours of tasting in the Grand Ballroom from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, with access to all wineries, passed appetizers and food samples, and a souvenir wine glass; $75 VIP tickets allow for an extra hour of tasting in the Ballroom beginning at 6:00 pm as well as exclusive access to the VIP lounge from 6:45 to 10:00 pm and featuring appetizers and hourly rotating wine pours not available in the Ballroom.

The Festival is produced by the Whatcom Beer and Wine Foundation. Beneficiary organizations for this year’s Festival include Lydia Place, Our TreeHouse, Growing Alliances and Make.Shift.
