{"id":212,"date":"2007-06-01T10:42:10","date_gmt":"2007-06-01T17:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/danthewineguy.com\/?p=212"},"modified":"2009-02-22T12:09:44","modified_gmt":"2009-02-22T19:09:44","slug":"dusted-valley-vintners-wines-earn-high-marks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.danthewineguy.com\/?p=212","title":{"rendered":"Dusted Valley Vintners Wines Earn High Marks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Walla Walla&#8217;s Dusted Valley Vintners earned high praise for a number of their current releases in the May 31, 2007 issue of Wine Spectator magazine.<\/p>\n<p>Included in the list were the <strong>2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley Stomp!<\/strong> (about $15) and the <strong>2004 Columbia Valley Reserve Syrah<\/strong> (about $32) which both scored 89 point ratings, the <strong>2004 Columbia Valley Stained Tooth Syrah<\/strong> (about $24) which nabbed 87 points and the <strong>2005 Yakima Valley Viognier<\/strong> (about $20), an 88 point winner.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dustedvalley.com\/images\/Img10.png\" alt=\"null\" \/> Winemakers Chad Johnson and Corey Braunel have not only been turning out a number of great wines, they&#8217;re a couple of super nice guys who genuinely seem to be having a lot of fun being in the wine industry.  <\/p>\n<p>Plans are underway for the expansion of their tasting room &#8211; which I highly recommend a visit to if you&#8217;re in the area.
